The Dubai Metro (Red and Green Lines) is clean, cheap, and air-conditioned — a Nol card (purchased at any station) covers metro, bus, and tram. The RTA Hala Taxi is metered with no surge pricing. Ride-hailing apps (Careem, Uber) also operate. Traffic between old Dubai, Downtown, and the Marina can be severe; allow 45–60 minutes for cross-city trips at peak hours.
